I would agree with Shaw that nothing here can or should diminish our perceptions of the 1962 VFW National Champion Cavaliers. But I am sure that the article will evoke old emotions from those who marched in 1962 - and those who marched in other years with similar circumstances (e.g., losing the 1970 World Open as the result of a single judge's questionable marks in the subjective GE bugle category). So it goes....
